A super hot day last Saturday for the first of our two outdoor club training sessions at the new Oak Park Leisure Centre brought out the players. It was great to see Life members and former players as well as our current generation and potential newbies all getting in and having a go. Our second outdoor session promises to be something special – with a masters game comprising former club & life members who helped shape this club – getting in for what might be a rather short spell of polo 🙂
Here are some VERY important events/dates :

- WINTER COMPETITION TRIAL GAMES – Tuesday April 2 & Thurs April 4
There are new dramatic rule changes in play for this competition. In order for players to get a feel for this, and get used to the reffing these rules will bring about, the first round of the Winter Comp will be used for trial games. EssYthG will play Tues at 6.30pm while EssSL2 & SL3 will play at 7.30pm (indoor pool). The guys will all play Thur at 6.30pm (indoors). If you haven’t as yet bothered to see what the rule changes are – you’d better swat up here : http://essendonwaterpolo.asn.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/FINA-RULE-CHANGES-2019Feb.pdf
