The Winter Competition concluded this week, with the Grand Final games played over 3 nights. Our Women’s SL3 team took on the undefeated St Catherine’s on Tuesday night, going down in a tight game, 6-8. Then our undefeated Men’s SL6 team took on Melbourne Surge Leviathans Thursday night, taking home the premiership title with a 9-5 win! Congratulations to all our players on a great effort throughout this competition – but especially to the guys for securing another win for the club!
Waterpolo is far from over…. here’s some important stuff :
- TRAINING – Mon June 24
There WILL BE training this Monday as usual, for all sub juniors, youth and senior players.
Then, there will be a 2 week break from training, to coincide with the school holidays. - STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS – Start July 23
There is only a short break now, before we kick start the State Championships. The club will have to submit team entries soon, so we need to know how many players plan to commit for this comp. Remember, that your registration expires on June 30 – so everyone has to re-register in order to play this comp. All current players need to indicate if they are staying on – or not :

This is starting to creep up on us now. The Sunday Junior Comp will be upon us before you know it. Get your child registered, rope in their school friends and get on down to training!
